COURSE OVERVIEW
Trauma doesn’t stay at home. It follows people to work — even if we don’t always see it. In every team, someone is likely carrying past or ongoing trauma.
This Trauma-Sensitive Workplace Training helps you understand what trauma is, how it affects behaviour and performance, and how your workplace culture can reduce harm rather than add to it. You’ll explore ways to support people with care and confidence, without needing to know anyone’s history.
It’s about getting the basics right — communication, structure, flexibility, and trust.

Training Format and Duration
Our Trauma-Sensitive Workplace Training is:
Interactive, reflective, and grounded in real scenarios
Designed for busy teams who need practical, applicable steps
Tailored to your sector and organisational culture
This is a full-day (6-hour) course, allowing the time and space needed to explore sensitive topics with care, build trust in the room, and practise applying trauma-sensitive approaches.
We strongly recommend in-person delivery. These sessions involve reflective discussion and team interaction, which work best face-to-face. Being in the same space helps participants feel more connected, more present, and more able to engage in honest, thoughtful conversations.
