Your Rights at Work: A Guide for Disabled People

Our Your Rights At Work Training helps disabled people understand what they’re entitled to at work — and how to make sure their needs are recognised and respected. Whether they’re starting a new job, returning after illness, or unsure what support they can ask for, this course provides practical knowledge and tools that make a real difference.

It’s an ideal session to include within staff development, supported employment programmes, or wider workplace inclusion initiatives. Training is accessible, down-to-earth, and delivered by people who bring both lived and professional insight.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Knowing your rights can change your whole work experience. But many disabled people either don’t know what they’re entitled to, or don’t feel confident asking for it.

This Your Rights At Work Training builds understanding around reasonable adjustments, workplace responsibilities under the Equality Act, and what to do if problems arise. We use relatable scenarios and offer realistic strategies for navigating tricky conversations.

Whether the participants are current employees, apprentices, or jobseekers preparing for work, this training gives them tools to feel informed, empowered, and supported.
